BNVD-1431 Mk.II Starter Kit

The BNVD-1431 is an excellent binocular, we recommend it to all users looking for a dependable unit for any application.

This housing has proven itself in design and in practice, being utilised by SAR, MIL and LEO throughout the world. It is manufactured by Argus and quality controlled by OPFOR Night Solutions in Canada.

We have brought this option to the market in an attempt to lower the pricing on BNVD units, whilst not sacrificing too much quality. You have the choice of picking from our new commercial spec lenses from Rochester Precision Optics, or our standard MilSpec lenses from Noctis (formerly Carson) Industries.

This kit features:

- Articulating pods. Most binocular systems manufactured nowadays feature articulation, which allows the user to quickly and easily rotate a pod upwards to view something such as a phone or an indoor environment. The articulation sacrifices rigidity and ruggedness for ease of use and user comfort.

- Infrared illuminator. The illuminator can be toggled by a double press of the power button. A red light will glow indicating the feature is on. The illuminator is only useful for seeing a few meters in front of you, so we recommend it for pitch black pathfinding, as it will make it easier to see your feet, or lighting up a dark room.

- Interpupillary stops (IPD stops). These allow the user to adjust the pods distance across the eyes, which stops the goggles from articulating further past that point.

- Auto stow shut off. When the binocular is stowed on your helmet, it will turn off automatically to protect the tubes from light damage. Remember to always keep your lenses covered when not in use, your tubes can still be damaged even when not on.

- Manual gain. When utilised with manual gain tubes. 

- Waterproof at 2 meters for 30 minutes.

- Onboard and Offboard power by utilizing a single AA battery as well as having the option to attach an external battery pack via a fischer connector.

- Inactivity shut off. If the unit has not been moved for more than 5 minutes, it will automatically shut off to protect the tubes from potential damage if left accidentally turned on.

 - Aluminium D-Collar focus stop to prevent the objective lens from coming out whilst changing focus.
